Depending on the specific product, JUVÉDERM can add volume, soften facial folds, enhance lips, improve facial contours and address selected areas of age-related volume loss.

What Is Juvederm?
JUVÉDERM is a family of injectable gels made with cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally found in the body that attracts water and helps provide hydration and volume.
Rather than being a single filler for every purpose, the JUVÉDERM collection includes different formulations designed for specific treatment areas. The choice of product depends on anatomy, treatment depth, desired correction and the aesthetic goal.
How HA Fillers Work
JUVÉDERM gel is placed into the selected treatment area with a needle or cannula. It adds temporary volume and can smooth folds, enhance contours or restore volume depending on the product used.
Improvement is generally visible immediately, although swelling can temporarily affect the appearance during the first days after treatment.

JUVÉDERM results are generally visible immediately after treatment. Duration depends substantially on the specific product and treatment area. With optimal treatment, results from products in the current JUVÉDERM collection can last approximately 1–2 years, depending on the formulation and area treated.
Individual metabolism, anatomy, amount used and treatment goals also affect duration.
Recovery & Aftercare
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, firmness, itching or small lumps can occur around injection sites. The degree and duration vary by patient and treatment area.
Follow the individualized instructions provided after treatment. Tell Dr. Yagudin about all medications and supplements you take. Do not stop medically prescribed medication unless advised by the clinician who manages it.
About Off-Label Filler Treatments
Some facial contouring uses shown in Dermacare Medical’s clinical photographs, including selected nasal contouring applications, may be outside the FDA-approved indications for a particular JUVÉDERM product. Physicians may use an FDA-approved product for other medically appropriate applications based on clinical judgment.
