Will I be asleep?

This system is intended for a conscious patient who can breathe spontaneously and use the mouthpiece as instructed. Ask how it fits into your planned procedure.

Can everyone use it?

No. Your medical history, ability to use the system and procedure determine suitability. The clinician reviews contraindications and alternatives.

Can I drive afterward?

Do not assume that you can drive solely because nitrous oxide clears quickly. Follow the clinician’s discharge decision, considering all medicines and treatments received that day.
