How to get Upneeq

Book your appointment online. Choose an in-person or virtual Upneeq consultation with Dr. Yagudin. The $99 consultation includes evaluation and, if appropriate, a prescription for a 3-month supply of Upneeq.
Complete your medical questionnaire. On the day of your appointment, you will receive a link by text or email to complete a short medical questionnaire before your visit.
Meet with the doctor. Dr. Yagudin evaluates your eyelids and medical history. A prescription is issued only if treatment is appropriate.
Arrange delivery. If prescribed, our office guides you through the current designated pharmacy process. The pharmacy confirms medication price, payment and shipping; the drops are billed separately from the consultation.

A consultation does not guarantee a prescription. Delivery timing and medication cost are set by the dispensing pharmacy.

How does Upneeq work?

Upneeq® (oxymetazoline ophthalmic solution, 0.1%) is a prescription eye drop for acquired ptosis, also called a droopy or low-lying upper eyelid. It acts on a small muscle that helps raise the upper lid. This nonsurgical eyelid lift is temporary and does not remove extra eyelid skin.

Droopy eyelid after Botox?

Sometimes eyelid drooping follows a Botox treatment. Dr. Yagudin can assess whether the eyelid itself is affected and whether Upneeq is appropriate. The drops do not reverse Botox or lift a lowered brow. New or sudden drooping, especially with double vision, severe headache, weakness or unequal pupils, needs prompt medical assessment.

Eyelid droop or eyebrow droop?

Upneeq can temporarily lift a low-lying upper eyelid. It does not raise a lowered eyebrow. The illustration compares the two conditions; Dr. Yagudin can assess the cause of drooping during your consultation.

Can eye drops lift eyelids without surgery?

For adults with acquired droopy upper eyelids, Upneeq can temporarily raise the eyelid without surgery. It does not remove excess skin or replace an examination to find the cause of eyelid drooping.

How much does it cost?

The $99 Dermacare consultation includes evaluation and, when medically appropriate, a prescription for a 3-month supply of Upneeq. Medication is separate. The manufacturer’s online listing shown on September 27, 2026 offered 30 single-use vials for $155 as a one-time purchase, with a lower subscription offer; a 3-month supply would require more medication and is priced separately by the pharmacy. Pharmacy pricing and availability can change. Confirm your total directly with the dispensing pharmacy before ordering.

How long is the appointment, and when will I receive Upneeq?

Ask our office about the appointment length when scheduling. If Dr. Yagudin determines that a prescription is appropriate, the pharmacy provides current payment and delivery details. Shipping times vary, and we do not promise a same-day prescription or delivery.

How do I use the drops?

The labeled dose is one drop in one or both affected eyes once daily. Remove contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes to reinsert them. Separate other eye drops by at least 15 minutes. Discard each single-use container after dosing. Follow your clinician’s instructions.

Who may not be a good candidate for Upneeq?

Upneeq is approved for adults with acquired drooping of the upper eyelid. It may not address a low brow or excess eyelid skin. Sudden or unexplained drooping, especially with double vision, a severe headache, unequal pupils, or weakness, needs prompt medical evaluation rather than cosmetic treatment. Tell your clinician about untreated narrow-angle glaucoma, serious or unstable heart or blood pressure problems, reduced blood flow to the heart or brain, Sjögren’s syndrome, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and your medicines. These factors call for an individual medical decision; the prescribing information lists no absolute contraindications.

What should I discuss with the doctor?

Tell Dr. Yagudin about eye conditions, cardiovascular or blood pressure problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and your medicines. Possible side effects include eye irritation or redness, dryness, blurred vision, discomfort and headache. Upneeq may not be suitable for everyone. Eye pain with redness, blurred vision or light sensitivity warrants urgent care.

How do I get a prescription?

Call Dermacare Medical for an evaluation. If Upneeq is suitable, Dr. Yagudin can prescribe it and discuss how to obtain and use it. A different treatment or an eye specialist referral may be more appropriate after examination.
